We are currently looking for volunteers to tutor students at both of our locations during Power Hour. Our students range in grades 2-8 and have homework in a variety of subjects.
Do you love to fundraise? Do you enjoy working with a team? We are always looking for volunteers to assist with our fundraising efforts. Whether you enjoy working as a committee member on an event or making thank you calls on behalf of the club, fundraising help is always needed.
If you are pursuing a career in Education, Youth Development, Social Work or other areas, we would be more than happy to discuss possibly internship possibilities with you.
Mentoring is at the heart of what we do at The Boys & Girls Club. We are looking for outgoing individuals to assist our professional staff with our nationally acclaimed programming. We offer a variety of programs throughout the year and the summer and are open to suggestions to creating new programs.
Current programs offered are:
Money Matters- teaching financial literacy
SMART Girls- teaching good decision making and life skills
Passport to Manhood- teaching good decision making and life skills
Torch Club- leadership and community service- 5th and 6th graders
Keystone Club- leadership and community service- teens
Image Makers- photography Club
Healthy Habits- gardening and nutrition
Triple Play- physical fitness and sportsmanship
Drama Matters- Drama Club
Club Tech- Computer lab and STEM
